L’ABS est en cause, il faudra deux arrêts pour résoudre le problème. Greg rejoint l’arrivée mais trop loin pour inscrire le moindre point. Pendant ce temps-là, les trois autres équipages en lice pour le titre se sont farouchement battus pour la victoire, afin de conserver l’espoir de faire vaciller les champions sortants. Dimanche en début d’après-midi, seuls Nicolas Prost et Christopher Campbell conservent une chance de coiffer la couronne. A condition de l’emporter et que l’Audi #42 ne finisse pas mieux que 8ème.

Cette année, à l’inverse, nous avons été dans le coup ici, quel que soit le tracé. Mais après avoir enchainé dix courses sur dix dans le Top 5, on ne s’attendait pas à terminer la saison sur un double résultat vierge. Le point commun entre les trois titres, c’est le fait d’avoir ressenti à chaque fois la même pression pendant le dernier week-end. Je suis désolé de ce contact avec Nicolas Prost, c’était involontaire. Nous pensions avoir résolu nos ennuis donc j’ai été surpris d’être à nouveau trahi par l’ABS. Ce soir, nous sommes triples champions de France, j’adresse un grand merci à toute l’équipe Saintéloc et à Fabien, mon coéquipier. Bravo aussi à SRO pour avoir en quelque sorte vaincu la crise en parvenant à aller au bout de cette saison avec un plateau magnifique. »
