Les nouveaux défis de Grégory Guilvert La saison 2022 voit Grégory Guilvert affronter trois nouveaux défis qui ont la particularité d’être tous liés à des succès passés. On retrouvera le pilote Seine-et-Marnais en championnat de France FFSA GT, en GT4 European Series et à Road to Le Mans au volant d’un proto LMP3. Trois épreuves ont déjà eu lieu à Nogaro, Imola et Magny-Cours avec plusieurs résultats flatteurs dont un podium européen. 
Défi n°1 : le championnat de France FFSA GT avec un rookie ! Les quatre derniers exercices du championnat national ont vu l’équipage Guilvert-Michal rafler trois titres consécutifs et une médaille d’argent. Mais pour 2022, Fabien Michal avait indiqué qu’il comptait se fixer de nouveaux objectifs. Greg ne s’attendait donc pas à entamer une nouvelle campagne complète en France. Mais une opportunité de poursuivre chez Saintéloc avec un pilote peu expérimenté, dans le but de le faire monter en puissance, est apparue. C’est ainsi que le duo des deux Grégory, Guilvert et Faessel-Curson, a débuté à Nogaro. « Greg a 27 ans, il est de Strasbourg et effectue sa deuxième année en sport auto » précise Greg (l’autre). « Il a accompli une première saison en GT4 European Series en 2021 avec Saintéloc. J’essaye de lui faire profiter de mon expérience et ça se passe plutôt mieux que prévu. Il applique bien mes conseils et nos résultats vont crescendo. Nous avons marqué des points quatre fois sur quatre et à chaque course on arrive à en marquer davantage. Nous avons obtenu une belle 4e place en Pro-Am à Magny-Cours, c’est très encourageant et satisfaisant. Greg a encore une belle marge de progression, il se peut donc que l’on revoit nos ambitions à la hausse ! » 
Défi n°2 : en GT4 European Series, on prend les mêmes en espérant recommencer ! En soi, rien de bien nouveau puisque Greg retrouvera l’écurie Saintéloc et Fabien Michal dans le rôle du coéquipier. Soit le package qui a raflé haut la main le titre Pro-Am l’an passé. Seulement voilà, une saison n’est jamais identique à la précédente : nouveaux circuits, nouveaux adversaires… Et puis, doubler la mise dans un championnat de cette qualité représente en soi un sacré défi. Il est souvent plus facile de gagner que de confirmer « Nous avons monté le programme tardivement, ce qui nous a empêchés d’effectuer des essais. Pourtant, nous avons été performants d’entrée de jeu à Imola. Je me suis fait avoir par le radar à l’entrée de la pitlane pendant la course 1 et la pénalité nous a couté une possible 6e place. Le team a bien fait progresser la voiture pour la course 2. En jouant la course d’équipe avec l’équipage Silver de Saintéloc, on s’est retrouvé en position de jouer la gagne mais la neutralisation intervenue sur la fin a interrompu notre remontée. Nous avons terminé 3e au général et 2e en Pro-Am. » 
Défi n°3 : Road to Le Mans LMP3, la quarantaine rugissante ! Depuis une douzaine d’années, Greg s’est presque exclusivement consacré aux voitures de Grand Tourisme en compétition. Il a effectué une course au Paul Ricard avec une LMP3 de l’équipe CD Sport en Challenge VdeV en 2018 et… le test effectué fin 2009 au volant de la Peugeot 908 HDI FAP des 24 Heures du Mans doit encore occuper ses pensées ! « Je vais retrouver CD Sport pour mon « Défi de la quarantaine » que je suis heureux de partager avec Fabien Michal. Nous avons fait des tests à Magny-Cours cette semaine, j’ai été impressionné par l’appui aérodynamique de la Ligier JS P320. Nous ne devrions pas être loin du compte dans la Sarthe » Road to Le Mans aura lieu en lever de rideau des 24 Heures du Mans du 8 au 11 juin, mais auparavant Greg disputera la prochaine épreuve de la GT4 European Series du 3 au 5 juin au Paul Ricard, et le championnat de France FFSA GT reprendra ses droits au Grand Prix d’Albi du 24 au 26 juin.
